As water is pumped through the Florida aquifer, the accumulation of mineral deposits, including calcium, magnesium, selenium and others, from the limestone rocks deep below the surface causes hard water. The level of accumulation of these mineral deposits determines the hardness of the water.

If you have hard water, you may notice rings or sand-like grit around the drain in the tub, sink and toilet. You may also notice the water is abrasive when bathing. Those living in areas where hard water is prominent also use more water and detergent when washing clothes or dishes. You may also notice that ice cubes are cloudy, there are spots on silverware or dishes and your drains and pipes are clogged more often.

soften water with water filter and purification in plant city flWater Softener System

Our state-of-the-art water softener system uses an ion exchange to remove calcium and magnesium deposits to soften the water. It works by replacing calcium and magnesium ions with salt and potassium ions without increasing the sodium content of the water. The whole house water treatment system connects to the main water supply at the point of entry to your home. This ensures all the water you consume will first pass through the water filtration and softening system prior to consumption. It also eliminates the need to add water softeners in your washing machine and dishwasher.

We use a dual tank process: Water is collected and filtered in the first tank. The filtered and purified softened water is stored in the second tank. Tank switching is 100% automatic and the entire tank is used eliminating any waste. The filter cartridges are user-replaceable and do not require a service call. Our water softener system works with both city/municipal water and well water systems.
